Leor Kweller - New York Educational and Legal Leadership Experience
Leor Kweller is a New York lawyer focused on contract administration. He has an extensive background in teaching and academic administration. His most recent position at West Brooklyn Community High School lasted two terms and involved teaching United States Government. Before that, Leor Kweller spent more than a decade as a teacher at Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman High School, teaching a diverse range of classes, including business law, marketing, economics, and financial literacy.
For three years, Mr. Kweller served as an 11th-grade advisor and dean, mentoring students in setting goals and finding clubs and internships aligned with their interests. The assistance he provided to academically struggling students ensured that they stayed current with often demanding course materials. Mr. Kweller’s responsibilities as faculty supervisor extended to helping organize student participation in competitions spanning business plans and moot courts.
During his tenure as an attorney, Mr. Kweller excelled in civil litigation, focusing on trust and estate law. He subsequently handled insurance defense litigation, arguing motions and drafting pleadings and appellate briefs. As the father of a son with non-verbal autism, he maintains a strong, ongoing interest in neurodivergency and parenting research.
